Amazon Kindle: Are you download books directly on the Kindle?
My mother-in-law bought my stepfather Amazon Kindle for Christmas, and now they want my help to run it. Rural areas and are therefore outside the EVDO network of Sprint, which is necessary for download content on the airwaves. So my question is: Can I buy Kindle – Amazon programmed books, download them to your PC, then transferred to light via the USB cable or other cable? I have not seen the Kindle or the image came to see if there were any instructions or cables included. Only my mother-in law calls me asking for help with any knowledge of the gadget. Maybe Kindle has a support page online or somewhere to get this information online. My mother-in-law, thank you for your help. 
I had a look and found that the Kindle comes with USB 2.0 cable. The review that I looked spoke to information that could be downloaded and transferred to the Kindle via the USB cable. In this spirit, it seems logical that he would be able to download and transfer books and the same way. Another option is that the Kindle has an SD card slot, and could be capable of transferring information in this way.
