What’s a good graduation present?

My dad asked my yesterday what I wanted for my 8th grade graduation, and I told him “IDK maybe itunes or gift card.” I only said this because I did not want to push the money because Im already headed to a top private school. — When messing with my father’s phone I discovered that the price limit he had in mind was a 200-250 gift. 1. How would I bring this up again? I was just trying to be polite before (lol). … 2. Im debating between an ipod touch, a kindle, a nook, or waiting to see if verizon gets an iphone … I already have an ipod touch put it pisses me off because I dropped it in water and now the volume is stuck. I live off of music and books so this is why im having trouble choosing between a new ipod touch (which idk if my parents will go for since they got me my ipod just a year ago) or a kindle/nook…? 10 pts plz help

Ask for something you really want and u know ull be using a lot. dont just think bout more expensive gift because u saw their price range. if youre into books then tell him to go with you to a bookstore so u can pick some books u would like.
if ur ipod touch is not working properly then ask him if he cant get you a new one since that happened
he wants to give u something to reward ur good grades/behavior etc… hell be more than happy to give u something u really want if its within his price range
