I downloaded a Borders EPUB ebook?

I put it into Calibre, so I could convert it to MOBI to put it on my Kindle. But when I put it on Calibre and try to convert it…. it says: Cannot Convert book because no suitable source format was found. Anything to do with the DRM? Is there any way I can get money back on my giftcard, and give the eBook back to Borders? Thanks

Since you downloaded the book into Calibre, you’ve “used” it. You can’t return the e-book for credit any longer. You must remember you don’t own the book, you only own the rights to read it. Your machine read it. You got what you paid for. That said, you can go to the store and make an argument, and if you find the right understanding manager, he could restore the credit. (Borders isin the business of making customers, not selling books. Some managers understand that.)
