Is the Amazon Kindle the fiasco of the latest management in a sign it is time to drop DRM?
I also find Ironically, were two of the works which the author either recently or in the past, George Orwell (and Ayn Rand) are the authors who wrote works that warned against the central authority of others. I think both authors would be appalled by how its works were deleted. http://www.fsf.org/news/amazon-apologizes
DRM provides a distinct advantage for those who use it, but this advantage and of itself is not necessarily unfair. The creators and owners of intellectual property has the right to impose certain restrictions on the how to use this property. The laws simply have not caught up with technology. The lawsuit was filed alleging that Amazon has never revealed its customers' use of technological capability or the right to delete remote digital content purchased via Kindle Store. "It is a convincing argument. The average consumer can not be expected to know all the ways that technology can affect them, and must be Plunk informed before their money. This was clearly unfair Amazon has been the failure to disclose. Amazon customers should also given some kind of notice before changing the content that had been paid. I agree with about irony, unless the editors and the like are no centralized authority. They are not an authority. They can not force someone to buy a Kindle, iPod, PC or any other electronic gadgets. You do not have a Kindle because I am not independently wealthy, there are many other ways to spend $ 300 + can improve my life, and honestly I'm a little control. I want a degree of control over the activities that get involved in, and since Start the Kindle could see he could not get it.
